Early Symptoms of Tooth Erosion
When it comes to tooth erosion, there are two stages. They’re classified as early tooth erosion and advanced or severe tooth erosion. Early symptoms include:
Discoloration is an early sign that you’re starting to suffer from tooth erosion. Because the dentin of your teeth is exposed during the process of tooth erosion, yellowing or discoloration of the teeth can occur.
Tooth sensitivity in the early stages of tooth erosion are manageable, but noticeable. Sensitive teeth is a very common symptom because when erosion occurs, it removes the enamel from your teeth. This enamel is what protects your teeth from experiencing sensitivity to hot and cold, which leaves the dentin of your teeth exposed.
