A study completely by PubMed, Web of Knowledge and Wan Fang Med Online found through 19 studies back in 2014 that tea has the ability to lower the risk of oral cancer.
Study may offer answers for better oral health.
In a separate study in 2009, researchers revealed that drinking green tea every day could potentially offer consumers protection against developing gum disease. During the study, 940 men in Japan drank at least one cup of green tea per day had experienced a decrease in gum recession and bleeding. They also stated that the symptoms they were showing and feeling were indicators of gum disease prior to the study. And, in an article released by insurance provider, Delta Dental, stated, “The researchers suggested that the antioxidants in green tea may be responsible for slowing down the effects of gum disease. “
