Dr. Peter Coakley was born in Woburn, Massachusetts and has lived here most of his life. He attended Boston College, where he graduated with honors in 1969. He went on to attend McGill University in Montreal where once again he graduated with honors. After graduation, Dr. Coakley completed an internship at the University of Florida in Gainesville. In 1975, after completing his internship, he opened his private practice in Woburn. He was also a clinical instructor at Harvard School of Dental Medicine, and has lectured to various dental groups and private organizations. Dr. Coakley is married with three daughters.
Dr. Louis Trainor was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He attended Marquette University in Milwaukee, Wisconsin where he obtained a Bachelor of Science degree and graduated Cum Laude. Dr. Trainor went on to attend Marquette University School of Dentistry and graduated in 1981. He began practicing in Woburn with Dr. Coakley in 1981. Dr. Trainor is married with four daughters. Dr. Trainor has served as a Clinical Instructor at Harvard University School of Dental Medicine. He travels extensively to learn about the latest technologies and concepts in dental science. All three doctors work together to assure that this information is implemented into our practice in a way that will most benefit our patients. Drs. Coakley, Trainor and Mancuso keep abreast of new techniques by participating in many continuing education seminars. They are active in the American Dental Association, the Massachusetts Dental Society, the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, and the Academy of General Dentistry.
Dr. Melissa Mancuso was born in Providence, Rhode Island. She attended Rhode Island College where she obtained a Bachelors of Science Degree. She went on to attend St. Louis University where her Masters thesis was in Molecular Biology and graduated with honors. Dr. Mancuso went on to attend Boston University and graduated in 2000. She began practicing with Drs. Coakley and Trainor in 2001. Dr. Mancuso has also completed advanced studies in Cerec Restorations, Endodontic Therapy, and Laser Periodontal Surgery.
Dr. William G. Caldwell attended The University of Washington in Seattle, WA where he obtained a Bachelors Degree. He went on to attend Washington University in St. Louis, MO and obtained his dental degree in 1987. Like our other doctors, Dr. Caldwell is a member of the American Dental Association and the Massachusetts Dental Society. Previously, he has served as Vice President of the Massachusetts Academy of General Dentistry. He continues to participate in many local community organiztions and charities. Dr. Caldwell lives in Westford and is married with three children.
Dr. Sandra Morin is our Periodontist. She was born in Miami, Florida. Dr. Morin attended The University of Puerto Rico where she received a Bachelors Degree in Biology. She went on to attend Boston University School of Dental Medicine and graduated in 1989. Dr. Morin also received her periodontology degree from Boston University in 1991.
